Divine Fortune delivers something that you don’t expect to find in most Net Ent slot machines, and that’s a progressive jackpot. It’s also a game with a design that is not as detailed as some of the others that they’ve put out, so that’s not one of its biggest strengths. The theme in use here relates to the mythical creatures from the Legends of Olympus. Greek mythology has been a rich source of inspiration for developers, and here we have one such example. Divine Fortune will give you 20 pay lines, there are 5 regular reels on which they can appear, and the combinations formed will deliver payouts of $3,000 at best, with a possible better reward coming via the fixed or progressive jackpots. You get wild symbols here, which can expand sometimes, along with free spins, scatters and bonus games.

Betting requirements

This is a new game from Net Ent, and so they have their regular betting system, the one with all the lines fixed and with the line bet being the only one that can change. The Level of the bet is changed as needed by the player, with a minimum wager of 1 coin and a maximum one of 10 coins. There is the coin value as well to consider, within the range of $0.01 to $0.50. You can end up spending as little as $0.20 here, but you can also take your bets up to $100 if you want to.

Theme & Design

As I’ve mentioned, we’re looking at a game with a focus on mythology and on the creatures that the Greeks believed in. For example, we have Medusa in the main role, the woman with snakes on her head, instead of hair. We also get images of the Minotaur, of a Gryphon (lion with bird’s head), a lion, poker icons with a Greek inspired font, thunderbolts (scatter) and the Pegasus (wild). The Greeks have served as inspiration for the design, so you’re going to notice two marble statues on both sides, plus the influence over the font which was used for poker icons. The quality of the high paying icons is excellent, but they all look like they’re posing for a picture, there is no life in those mythical creatures, no emotion. It’s a good looking game overall, just not as impressive as some of the other Net Ent releases.

Special Features

One symbol to watch out for in Divine Fortune is the Pegasus, a creature that we see in the wild. These wild symbols may be capable of replacing all sorts of other symbols, regular ones always, but the surprising part is the extra feature that they bring along. It’s called Falling Wilds Re-Spins, and it’s triggered whenever a wild symbol makes an appearance. The wild symbol will shift down by one spot on the reel, and then you get a re-spin. You keep getting these re-spins, until the Falling Wild has moved out of the screen. Wild on Wild is a feature that can trigger when you have a wild appear behind the position of a Falling Wild. The Wild symbol then expands and takes over that reel. The re-spins that will come from those wilds will occur with two wilds present on that column. The scatter symbol will suggest a connection with Zeus, since it’s showing a hand that’s about to throw a thunderbolt. It’s marked Free Spins, and that’s exactly what you get from it, whenever they’re visible in 3+ locations. You can land 5, 8 or 12 free spins, based on the triggering symbols. All wild symbols expand and are turned into a Wild on Wild, during free spins. The final feature would be the Jackpot Bonus Game, whose prizes you can read about in the next section. It has its own Bonus symbols that can activate it, the ones which show gold coins. Three are needed at a minimum, in order to trigger the bonus game. From it, you can get the jackpots, or you can get smaller rewards, of up to 200x the line bet.

Jackpot

The prizes that you get with the regular combinations will offer you at most 600 times the line bet, so up to $3,000 in this case. The jackpot bonus game is the one to watch out for, as it can deliver Mega, Major and Minor prizes. Only the Mega Jackpot is a progressive, and it can pay $20,000 or more. The Major Jackpot is fixed at $10,000, while Minor pays $2,000.

Conclusion

It might not be as good looking as some of the other slot machines coming from Net Ent these days, but it does give you features that you will want to play, especially the one delivering a progressive jackpot. It doesn’t do a bad job at innovating either, with its Wild on Wild feature.
